All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Macie is a young retriever mix who came to the local animal shelter as a stray. Macie is approximately one year old and has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and is heartworm negative. This precious girl loves other dogs and all humans she meets. She was a bit shy when we first took her into our rescue program. But since that time, Macie has made great stides in coming out of her shell! She's got the most loving personality and promises to be a most loyal companion! Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
