All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. Tank is being fostered in AL, and will travel northeast once adopted!

Tank's adoption fee is $300 plus the $125 transport fee that gets his to New England is paid directly to the transport company!
IF you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement! Thank you for your understanding and consideration and for helping the dogs and puppies in need!
Once we receive your application you will get a reply with email and phone contact info for the rescuer and foster Mom to ask specifics about the dog or puppy you are interested in!
IF you submit an application,
please check your email and your spam / bulk folder several times a day
- a delay in responding to us may result in the puppy you are interested in being adopted by an applicant who did reply to us.
You will get a text message letting you know we have received your application, so please check your text messages after submitting the application!

I am a big baby so, thus I am called Tank! I play very well with my roommate, Lizzie. We had a delightful time out on the pretty day and I just wagged and wagged. I can be a bit shy and submissive, but that did not keep me from inspecting the playground for all the fun toys. Won’t you come play with me?
Tank is fully vetted and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Also, she will come with a 30 day free trial of pet insurance.
He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
