All of our adoptable animals are in the care of  volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org.  I am Dude!!!!! I was adopted, and brought back to the shelter. My owner has never responded to efforts to get me and I am so sad…just look at me! I am a beautiful brindle Terrier Pit Mix and am neutered. My coat is stunning and I love balls, squeaky toys and I am a good boy. I went on an exploration of the play area and promptly posed for this picture. I also like to do something the humans found so cute...I take my treats and carry it around the area for several laps before I sit and enjoy this delicacy. See, I am entertaining, too!! Would you be my permanent new owner, please?

For more information on adopting this dog, please email adoptions@alspca.org. The adoption fee is $125 and will go toward our vet expenses. All dogs are microchipped and will come with a 30 day free trial of pet insurance.

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
