All of our adoptable animals are in the care of  volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org

Not sure you're ready to adopt? Fostering an animal may be a great way to find out if you're ready! Ask about our Foster-to-Adopt Program

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. About Patches

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Gray
  • Ear Type: Natural/Uncropped

I'd like for you all to meet sweet mama Patches. Patches is an adorable cat that is in need of a permanent loving home. Patches and her kittens were found in Tuscaloosa post-tornado in April. All of the kittens have been placed in homes. Now, mama Patches needs a home. She has been fixed and vaccinated. She is about a year old and is super, super loving. She loves to be held and has the cutest "meow" you'll ever hear. She's litter box trained and would prefer to be an indoor cat. If you or anyone you know would be interested in giving sweet Patches a good home, please let me know. Please forward to anyone you know that might be interested in adopting Patches. If you have any questions, let me know.

For more information or an adoption application, please contact shannon@alspca.org. The adoption fee of $75 will go towards the vetting expenses for Mama Patches.

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
