All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. I'm Jack and I'm the friendliest beagle ever! I may be around 5 years old and 20ish pounds, but I'm a young pup at heart! I love playing and chewing my toys. And I really love to run around the yard. I'm a good sniffer too, especially if it's food. I love food! Once I'm comfortable, I love to hope on the couch and lay down. I walk on a leash, but love some freedom to run. It's easier to sniff everything without that leash. I love kids and other animals. I like trying to play with my BIG fur-brother - size means nothing to me. I'm good at sleeping in my crate and sleep there at night. I will get vocal when it's time to eat or potty - Did I mention I love to eat! Best in home with children over 8 years old.
Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
