All of our adoptable animals are in the care of  volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. Ellie is a pro going out to the fenced in back yard to potty. She will march out and come back all by herself.  On sunny days she entertains herself rolling in the grass and exploring. Ellie hops like a bunny when she is scurrying to carry laundry or shoes to her bed.  You couldn't be greeted by a happier girl when you walk into the house, even if you only went to the mailbox. Tug-o-war is her absolute favorite game. The ideal home for Ellie Mae as having another pet, and children who will take the time to play with her.  Borrowing a line from the movie "The Help", she is sweet, she is kind and she is important.  Ellie Mae deserves loving home with lots of attention. She currently lives with 2 cats and another dog. Ellie Mae understands that the cats are the boss of her, and doesn't provoke or chase them. She will wait until the cats move from her path, and will not walk close to them.

Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
