Report Cruelty to the Alabama SPCA

Please understand that the Alabama SPCA does NOT have the legal authority to investigate cruelty issues in Alabama.  What we do is based on the information we are given contact the proper local authorities about the issue.  We will also follow up with the local authorities if necessary.  However, we have no power to seize animals, investigate people suspected of animal cruelty, or force any agency in Alabama to investigate an issue of cruelty.  However, we will do everything WITHIN OUR POWER to help.
